Christine Chilaka

Christine Chilaka is a dedicated recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor's Degree in Gender and Women's Studies, trained in feminist discourse, gender and sexuality theory, and reproductive sciences.

Christine has a strong academic background with courses in biological and chemistry departments, research experience in abortion and contraceptives at UCSF, and presentations on transgender healthcare at Stanford Medical School.

With a passion for women's health, Christine plans to pursue a joint MD/MBA degree to become an Obstetrician Gynecologist, aiming to open a private practice specializing in intellectually disabled patients.

Throughout her academic journey, Christine has been actively involved in various organizations and roles, such as serving as the Kappa Chapter President at Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and as a former Business Analyst and Quality Management Project Specialist at Inland Empire Health Plan.

In her free time, Christine enjoys staying active, reading books, and spending time with friends and sorority sisters.

Her diverse educational background includes studies in Medicine at The Ohio State University, Chemistry at California State University-Dominguez Hills, Political Science and Government at Azusa Pacific University, and Physics at the University of Sussex.

Christine has also been involved in different capacities, such as serving as a Student Mentor at Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, President of Black Students in Health Association (BSHA), and an Intern at Stanford University School of Medicine.

She has conducted research, held teaching positions, and contributed to various committees and organizations, showcasing her commitment to academia, women's health, and community involvement.
