The CAM team traveled to the Paper City yesterday (Holyoke) to celebrate 13 new awardees of the M2I2 program. Over its nearly 10 year history, the program has significantly advanced critical technologies and driven economic impact across the state, from Boston to Groveland, South Coast, Holyoke, and the Berkshires. We have created sustainable jobs and built an ecosystem that supports innovation and growth.
This past year, we have invested in teams, collaborations, and technologies critical to both Massachusetts and the greater good of our planet. Of the 13 awards announced, at least 9 focus on clean tech, including more efficient battery technologies, carbon capture, recycling of plastics, and energy storage. Massachusetts continues to lead in innovation, clean tech, and technologies making a global impact.
Congrats to all and a bit shout out to Lily Fitzgerald who's hard work and passion for innovation were fully on display at yesterday's event!
