Highlights
it's a wrap! Yesterday I closed my laptop at Alpro/Danone for the last time. After an exciting assignment of more than three and a half years, I pass on the torch to the talented Christof De Schepper. A special shout-out goes out to Lisanne Lapidaire and Eugene Kusse, a tandem of talent and inspiring leadership. Without your belief in developing our talents, we would never have been where we are today, thank you! And a final shout-out goes to the best L&D team in the world, Purdey Hazebrouck, Sybren Quidousse, Gerry De Lombaerde and Emma Schelstraete. Thank you for always putting our people at the centre and having each others back. It's not a goodbye, It's a see you later. #WijPlantenZaadjesJijOogstTalent #alpro #danone #plantbased
Learning technologies 2024, how nice it is to be able to attend again! Day 1 is over and these interesting insights have already inspired and challenged me:
- The rise of AI is not only changing blue collar jobs, the current AI revolution is also pushing white collars jobs to redesign themselves.
- AI is forcing us to think less in terms of jobs and focus more on non-routine tasks and skills. Some inspiring quotes: "Own you development and create opportunities" - Detlef Hold - Roche "Fall in love with the problem, not with the solution" - Uri Levin - Waze "Learning = stimulating curiosity = being human"
I am already looking forward to day 2!
