Christopher Bolton

PhD Candidate at University of Melbourne

Christopher Bolton is a highly skilled professional with a diverse background in theoretical, computational, and experimental methods for studying nanoparticles and their diffusion.

With a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Christopher has collaborated with Prof. Ray Dagastine to develop innovative laser microscopy techniques for observing anisotropic nanoparticles in soft-matter systems, focusing on non-equilibrium behavior.

His research contributes to advancing our understanding of solution-based self-assembly processes for applications like solar cells, nano-electronics, and transport mechanisms in complex systems such as targeted drug delivery.

In addition to his academic achievements, Christopher has practical experience as an engineering consultant at Stantec's Vancouver and Kitchener offices in Canada, and in on-site process engineering at Nufarm's agrichemical plant in Melbourne, Australia.

Furthermore, Christopher serves as the Co-Founder & Director of Tiny Bright Things and has held various roles in organizations like Stantec, Nufarm, Negotiaction, Great Forest Australia, and Uni-Edit.
