He has served as a Middle School Educator at Keys School, Hillbrook School, and Sacred Heart Schools. He has also been a High School Educator at Kehillah Jewish High School and an Educator at Khan Lab School.

Additionally, Christopher Chiang has been actively involved in educational leadership, having served as a School Board Trustee at the Mountain View Whisman School District. He was re-elected to the position in 2020.
