A couple of months ago I earned the first Zapier Certified Expert in Asia-Pacific through due to the workflows I build through That Startup Company. Not only are we the first but we are the only Zapier Certified Expert in the Asia-Pacific region one of 20 worldwide to have received this certification. However, this wouldn't have been possible without the support from the team at Arowana and the 1,500+ people I have shared my MVP and prototyping workshop with. All the questions I received forced me to learn more and create more advanced workflows, that helped me become a Zapier Certified Expert.
About two months ago I was asked to do a talk at TEDxUQ, I spoke about how starting a business at university can help accelerate your personal growth and help you identify your passions.
I also mentioned that even if this business fails, the skills you develop will be more desirable than any skills you would get if you just did an internship at some random business that looks nice on your CV.
Take a look at http://ow.ly/xdx1R and please share it with any students in your network who are still focused on that old career path, and working for someone else the rest of their life.
