Christopher Monaco is a Ph.D. student at Emory University, where he focuses on the intersection of chemistry and biology to innovate new pharmaceutical treatments. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked at the US CDC, designing molecular assays and custom lab equipment. With a diverse educational background including a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Bioinformatics from Georgia Tech, Christopher has delved into research spanning inorganic materials synthesis to genomic data analysis.

Beyond his scientific endeavors, Christopher has dedicated time to K-12 education, integrating modern insights and technologies to aid 21st-century learners. In his leisure hours, he enjoys cultivating gourmet mushrooms, gardening, and cherishing moments with his partner and their beloved tiny dog. Eager to continually explore the frontier of science and engineering, Christopher is open to new collaborations to push the boundaries.
