Christopher Sanders, AIA, is the founding principal and design leader at Sanders Architecture in Austin, Texas, with over 20 years of experience in designing commercial, institutional, and residential projects across various locations including Texas, Massachusetts, Maine, Germany, and Croatia.

Prior to establishing Sanders Architecture in 2009, Chris worked as a project manager at Andersson Wise Architects in Austin and as a designer at Ann Beha Architects in Boston, Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University where he was recognized as the Edward J. Romieniec Traveling Scholar.

During his academic journey, Chris gained valuable experience as an architectural intern at Leo A Daly in Washington, DC. He further expanded his international exposure by working as an architectural intern at Baum Freytag + Leesch in Weimar, Germany, and as a US/ICOMOS intern at the Mediterranean Center for Built Heritage in Split, Croatia.

Chris Sanders actively contributes to various organizations. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at the Waller Creek Conservancy and has previously been a member of the Board of Advisors at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
