Highlights
I am speaking at Make A Difference Summits on 17 October. My fireside chat focuses on "job design, skills and training - the cornerstones of employee health and wellbeing in the multigenerational workplace" and we will be chatting through -
- The delicate balance of designing jobs that stretch without overwhelming employees
- Professional development - where it fits into workplace wellbeing
- What good looks like for young, middle aged and older colleagues
- Difficult conversations at work - allowing employees to talk candidly about their jobs and air any grievances If you're in London that day and want to meet like-minded people who care about wellbeing in the workplace, register here:
Ever competitive, and remembering that time many years ago I cycled to Paris from London with colleagues (and forgetting I'm older and more unfit now!), I've signed up to complete a "fastest leg" charity event. All proceeds go to Evelina Children's Charity, who care, fund and support unwell children and their families in hospital. Any donation is gratefully received! Our team's cycling slot is at lunchtime right by the canteen so I'm hoping this spurs me on to focus as they'll be so many people watching!!
