I just started my maternity leave, and have traded corporate communications for all that comes with preparing for growing our little family, alongside Trace Ronning.
And what a time to become a mom. 🤰
For the first time, the Olympic Village has a nursery. Political conversations about whether motherhood qualifies you to lead (and what being a mom means) have inspired both thinkpieces and memes. And as someone who is quite online professionally, the amount of information and expectations we place on moms today feels absolutely overwhelming. Birthing and parenting in the age of influencers feels both deeply terrifying and freeing at the same time.
I'm absolutely grateful to my team for sending me off in the sweetest way. Will be rooting for you in between feeds Catherine Treyz, Catriona Miller, Ola Niechcial, Elizaveta Dolbilova, Prateek Keshari, Sarah Matzmorr and Will Gluckin!
