With a degree in Television Production, Clarisse initially worked in the media industry before transitioning to the humanitarian sector, collaborating with international NGOs and local partners in the Great Lakes Region of Africa.

Clarisse has worked with reputable organizations such as Oxfam, SOS Children, and Save the Children, focusing on education and protection projects for vulnerable groups like street children and child soldiers.

Currently, Clarisse is at Caritas The Gambia, supporting the Country Director in various strategic initiatives, capacity building, funding optimization, and public relations efforts.
