Very simple question, really.

How can you BEST use THIS day?

I just finished explaining Conscious Flow Control to a new friend.

There are four stages in every Flow Session. The first stage of entering flow is called the 'Struggle' Phase.

The thing about the struggle phase is it is literally a struggle.

You may relate to having something important to do, but maybe you, like me, sometimes push things a bit longer than is necessary.

There we sit, knowing we are going to do "it" but not starting. We put it off and put it off and put it off - and there may be a lot of valid reasons we do this. But the entire time, we are pushing it out a little bit further - we are also thinking about that "it" thing. We are stressing about getting it done, normally.

Guess what that whole time is!! That is the "Struggle" Phase!

So, a lot of people spend a lot of time daily thinking about things they need to get done but aren't doing. That is spending energy wastefully. Very wastefully.

Very Wastefully.

The good news is simple - The "Struggle" does not have to be a STRUGGLE!

Of course, this takes practice, but the end results are amazing.

When you apply Conscious Flow Control effectively, you end up ENJOYING today and not stressing tomorrow. You end up investing a few moments before you start a task to 'struggle' - and then you KNOCK it outta the park!

So -

How best CAN you use this day? Maybe ask me about conscious flow control and how it can help you, daily?

Meditation: Why Bother?

Do you meditate? If not, let’s explore why you might want to start.

Understanding the reasons behind meditation can help you appreciate its importance and build a sustainable habit. So, why meditate?

  1. Increase Your Awareness: Be more attuned to what doesn’t feel good in your life.
  2. Rewire Your Unconscious Programming: Change old patterns that no longer serve you.

First, let's dive into awareness. Increasing your awareness means being conscious of what doesn’t feel good. Why is this important? Because discomfort is a signal that something needs to change, either in how you’re doing something or how you’re perceiving it.

Take going to the gym, for example. Does it feel good? If not, you’re less likely to go regularly. But if it feels great, you’ll probably be more consistent and enjoy better health. The same applies to other areas of life. If your 9-to-5 job feels draining, it’s a sign that something needs to change, whether it’s the job itself or your approach to it.

Once you become aware of these small discomforts, you can begin to rewire or reprogram your life. Start with the little things, and soon, the bigger changes will come more easily.

Most often, I help business owners make more money by applying this understanding. But this principle can improve any area of your life: diet, relationships, commute—everything.

If you have questions, ask! If not, enjoy your journey towards greater awareness and a more fulfilling life!
