Clayton Lau started his career in sales at bearing and gear manufacturing and repair companies, gaining a strong foundation in the industry. He transitioned to rotating equipment repair shops, showcasing his natural entrepreneurial spirit. In 1999, Clayton joined HDS as Sales Manager, later becoming the General Manager. In 2001, he acquired ownership of HDS from Allis Chalmers Corp, where he established a customer-centric corporate culture.
Throughout his tenure, Clayton focused on delivering cost-effective rotating equipment repair solutions that ensured optimum performance upon service completion. His dedication to customer satisfaction has been a core value driving the success of HDS. In 2008, Clayton's son Luke, a UT chemical engineering graduate and MBA holder, joined HDS as the General Manager, bringing fresh ideas and passion to the business.
