MonarchBio is commercializing Thin Film Nitinol (TFN) for a variety of biomedical applications. Today, results from our collaboration with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center were published in the journal Nature Biomedical Engineering. This work shows how TFN can be used as a platform for local delivery of cell therapies treating solid tumors. Improving the efficacy of cell therapy in solid tumors remains one of the greatest challenges in the field, and we believe our approach offers a highly credible means to do so.
