Is anyone aware of any organisations who have extended their devops to include integration with external software providers. I'd imagine such an endeavor would require upfront negotiation at the tendering stage but might ultimately simplify and solve a bunch of governance issues. Just curious.

Dipping in to some of the presentations around the launch of .net 8. For me this has been eagerly awaited given I was already impressed by what could be achieved with .net 7 and with Blazor and the Maui framework.

Amazing how far the tools and platforms have come since the .net framework days. Far more performant, productive and enabling of new solutions than ever before.

Having spoken to a number of (mostly indigenous Irish based organisations) over the last while still trying to languish their way building features on a 15+ year old technology base and reluctant to invest in new tech, my advice would be...get moving ye luddites! This world is a better world!

The techs Aspire and Blazor for me are the two to watch in this space. Nice to hear Dapr in the mix.

And to that one software development manager guy who asked me this year "does .net core do dependency injection out of the box?" Yep - I mean you...
