It was September 4, 2023. Labor Day. The time of year I love most - always ready to settle back in, post summer shenanigans. But this time it was different. I could no longer squelch the recurring feeling that I needed to set myself free. But here's the thing. In the eyes of others, I AM free. No kids. No pets. No 'job' in the traditional sense of the word.

Post-Covid I was left feeling emotionally constrained. I repeatedly talked myself out of going places. I wanted to break through the noise in my head and force myself to go outside of my comfort zone. So, I finally decided to just do it and 3 weeks later I walked out of my front door. No specific goal or plan in mind. One way ticket in hand.

I left home (for 6 months) in order to come back home to myself. I returned last week with a wellspring of fresh energy to fertilize my life....and a spring in my step.

Today's episode of Dear Constance is about coming home. It's 5 minutes. https://bit.ly/4aukPv2
