Highlights
I've been working on the final bits for my AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching certification, which wraps up in two weeks.
It's been quite the journey since March! I enjoyed the mix of in person, online, and experiential learning with my lovely cohort. I also worked with practice clients along the way to refine my coaching model.
Next up assessment day! ✍️ A 3000 word reflective essay on who I am, how I coach, and how I've evolved through course. I've written about 8,000 not great words ready to be edited. 🪐 I've developed a coaching model and will present it to a panel. 🗣 Live coaching demonstration in front of the panel.
Watch this space as I've also been revamping my website with my coaching offerings. If you're ready for coaching, I am taking on a few clients.
An important aspect of what makes me me is my creative practice.
I’ve spent decades following my natural curiosity to explore loads of creative pursuits including music, photography, and nowadays physical art.
This creativity in the arts and crafts sense also has a practical and business slant. It helps me solve business, people, and organizational problems creatively — I’ve wrote a whole talk on that and I’ll link it in the comments.
I often fill my creative well by attending museums, watching new stuff, playing games, exploring new places, and adding a bit of joy of the unexpected to my week.
This week I visited to Moco Museum in London and here’s some of the pieces I enjoyed.
Would love to hear from you — What creative stuff do you do? Have you seen it impact other areas of your life?
