Highlights
One thing that has remained constant in my life is my commitment to give back to my community, and one of the ways that I’ve done that is by serving on the Board of Directors for The Walnut Grove, the Mahoning Valley’s FIRST Inclusive and Accessible Playground.
My “Why” is different from most, but it doesn’t make my commitment any less significant.
I’m honored to step back into a familiar role as the President of the Board at The Walnut Grove!
This facility has grown so much and provided an amazing space for children and families of all abilities to learn, play, and grow, and I’m excited to lead this organization through its next iteration as we focus on sustainability and strategic growth to become even better community partners and advocates. ✨
Onward to the next adventure…
One week I’m in the middle of ecosystem activity, the next I find myself looking to write the next chapter of my professional career.
Though my time at Venture For America has come to an end for the final time, it’s been an invaluable lesson.
I’m grateful to have had the experience of engaging with the entrepreneurial ecosystems in 7 cities, but especially in Cleveland where I hope to keep my talents.
I’ve strengthened relationships and fostered many new ones through events like the Cleveland Innovation Summit led by Justis Mendez and the Summer Accelerstor Program led by Weston Ideation Lab at Cleveland State University and Lynn Buchinsky.
What’s next for me is still to be determined, but I’m proud of what I’ve done and confident that the next chapter will be even greater. Want to know what I’ve been up to or how you can support moving forward? Let’s chat!
Onward ✈️
