Corey Zetts is the Executive Director of Menomonee Valley Partners, a public-private partnership facilitating the redevelopment of Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley.34 She has been with the organization since 2005 and became Executive Director in 2014.1 In her role, Zetts leads diverse projects and collaborations focused on economic development, workforce initiatives, environmental sustainability, and community benefit in the Menomonee River Valley area.6
Zetts describes herself as a convener, connector, and collaborator working at the intersection of economic development, workforce, environment, and community.5 Her work involves leading efforts to revitalize and sustainably develop the Menomonee River Valley for the benefit of the greater Milwaukee community.6
In addition to her role at Menomonee Valley Partners, Zetts serves as a Commissioner on the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.6 This position allows her to contribute to the management and oversight of the region's water resources and infrastructure.
Zetts is also actively involved in the local community. Recently, she was a guest on the Rotary Club of Milwaukee's new podcast, CONNECTIONS, which she described as an honor and enjoyable experience.2

It was an incredible honor to be part of the team representing Milwaukee at the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program last week. 140 leaders from 14 cities came together to focus on how we, as public, private, and nonprofit leaders, can work together to address the challenges and opportunities facing our cities. It was inspiring.
Given how fraught things feel when looking at the national news headlines, it was so heartening to hear from colleagues across the country doing bold and incredibly meaningful work in their cities and wonderful to get to know these great Milwaukee leaders better. Plus, I’m pretty sure Milwaukee brought the most city pride with them - thanks for the special team shirts, Stacia Thompson, Ed.D.! #YALP #Collaboration
Heading out to a week at Harvard Business School for the Young American Leaders Program and feeling honored to be one of the 10 nominated to represent Milwaukee I’m excited to work with our great cohort, discuss ideas for our cities with the 13 other cities represented there, and bring home good ideas. I’m also appreciating the generous interpretation of “young” 😉.
