This story “Selling Stolen” has been over a year in the making.

While a shorter version is airing on various CNBC shows and NBC plaforms today…here’s the super compelling in-depth piece…we go inside the world of organized retail crime…individuals that steal in order to sell stolen goods for cash.

I was with law enforcement on several busts, where individuals were arrested and hundreds of thousands of dollars of suspected stolen goods were pulled out of homes, cars and storage units to bw resold on marketplaces including Amazon as well as local flea markets and more.

We spoke to retailers that are victims, Homeland Security, California Highway Patrol, retail lobby groups, CA Attorney General and unsuspecting buyers of these stolen retail goods.
