Highlights

After almost 9 years, today is my last day at Bendigo Bank. I’ve held many roles over that time and had the opportunity to work alongside some very talented, passionate and clever people who have always made time to share their expertise. From advocating for proportional regulation, understanding capital requirements, and joining the fight against scams, to rebrands, website builds and coding a little reinforced learning car to race on a simulated track (random), my time at Bendigo has been diverse and rewarding. I’ve learned a lot and I hope I’ve left my own little mark on the bank.

While there will be too many to list, I wanted to give a special shout out to the A-team in Lauren Andrews BA MBA, Katherine S. and Rosie Hartney, and to leaders like Marnie Baker, Andrew Cairns, Robert Musgrove and Alexandra Gartmann who have mentored me during a formative time in my career.

I’m excited to soon be starting as the Government Relations Lead (ANZ) at MYOB—Australia’s first unicorn and champion of Australian businesses. To mark this move to tech, here’s a pic of me with our family’s first computer—an Olivetti—no doubt ripping through some Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego or Prince of Persia.

I will soon be starting a new role, which means my current position at Bendigo Bank is now taking applications!

If you have an interest in policy, government, or stakeholder engagement, you should consider applying. You would be joining an awesome team in a business that truly lives by its values.
