I'm celebrating the 2024 Antioch Alumni Magazine edited by Karen Hamilton, MA, CNP and Jasper Nighthawk of our AU Marketing Communications team here at Antioch University.
Every year I'm reminded of the genuine care and thought that goes into telling the truly amazing stories that emerge from our community of Antiochian's and make their way into our annual issue of Antioch Alumni Magazine. Their stories inspire me and make me proud to be a part of this community.
Jasper Nighthawk provided the following list, which I think does a great job of conveying just how much goes into creating the magazine.
The Alumni Magazine By The Numbers:
This January, 39,319 Antioch alumni, faculty, and staff received the 2024 Antioch Alumni Magazine. It is 72 pages long, and those pages are filled with 136 images and 43,543 words (30,792 words of reported stories; 12,751 words of reports). The reports feature 33 books, 144 class notes, 164 alumni and faculty obituaries, and the names of 431 donors. The reported stories were written by 11 Antiochian writers who interviewed 56 Antiochians.
And congratulations to Melinda Garland, Executive Dir of Marketing Communications, and all who contributed to this important work.
