Cristen Kromm is a highly accomplished professional in the field of higher education and student services, with a wealth of experience in various leadership roles.

She holds a Master's degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) from New York University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Wheaton College, Massachusetts.

Cristen Kromm currently serves as the Dean of Undergraduate Student Life at Columbia University, overseeing student life programs at both Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering & Applied Science.

Prior to her current position, she held the role of Associate Dean of Residential Programs at Columbia University, demonstrating her expertise in residential life and student housing.

Her extensive career in student affairs includes notable roles such as Assistant Dean of Community Development & Residential Programs at Columbia University, as well as Director of College Activities at Barnard College.

Cristen Kromm has a strong background in supporting first-year students, having served as the First Year Focus Director at both Barnard College and Columbia University.

Her experience also extends to serving as the Residence Hall Director for the Living Learning Community at Stony Brook University.

With a rich educational background and a diverse range of professional experiences, Cristen Kromm is a leader in fostering student development and creating vibrant campus communities.
