Cristian Lupsa, a well-established storyteller, editor, and founder, is based in Bucharest, Romania. With a career spanning over two decades, he has made significant contributions to the field of journalism through various roles and initiatives.

Notably, Cristian was the driving force behind DoR, a renowned digital and print magazine in Romania that played a crucial role in independent journalism until its closure in late 2022. His leadership as a co-founder of DoR and later as the chair of the European Press Prize Preparatory Committee has shaped the landscape of storytelling and journalism in Romania and beyond.

Apart from his editorial endeavors, Cristian also has a strong academic background, having pursued a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Bucharest. Throughout his career, Cristian held various key positions such as Editor-in-Chief at Decât o Revistă, Senior Editor at Tabu Magazine, and Writer-at-large at Esquire Romania, showcasing his versatility and expertise in the media industry.
