Cynthia Clark, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in Higher Education as a History Lecturer. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of historical topics from various regions and time periods, specializing in Economic History. Cynthia has received multiple teaching awards and consistently garners high praise for her passionate and effective teaching style. With a track record of teaching over 20,000 college students, she is revered for her comprehensive knowledge and communication skills.

As an accomplished editor, Cynthia has overseen the development of six multi-volume reference works in History. She is responsible for editorial tasks such as content organization, scholar recruitment, fact verification, and grammar. Additionally, Cynthia is an established author with 21 articles and chapters in books, including three History textbooks. She has also contributed extensively to encyclopedia entries in eleven different works. Her research spans beyond historical documents, incorporating insights from disciplines like archaeology and linguistics.

Cynthia Clark's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in U.S. History with minors in British History and Ancient History, achieved with Summa Cum Laude honors from Texas Christian University. She holds a Master's Degree in U.S. History from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's Degree in History from The University of Texas at Dallas. Currently a Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington - College of Liberal Arts, Cynthia has also held editorial positions at prestigious organizations like ABC-CLIO and M.E. Sharpe, Inc. Her teaching experience extends to institutions like The University of Texas at Arlington, University of Dallas, and Tarrant County College.
