Cynthia Gamage is dedicated to guiding students through their academic journey to the beginning of their careers, focusing on educating the whole person.
With a background in stores, buying offices, and recruiting, Cynthia has successfully prepared students who have gone on to lead prominent companies like Williams-Sonoma, Wal-Mart, John Varvatos, Chloe & Isabel, DFS, and Stitch Fix.
She continues to collaborate with retail companies to provide internships and job opportunities for students, while also mentoring students to excel in their future endeavors.
Cynthia's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a focus on Political Science, Sociology, History, and a minor in Psychology from San Jose State University.
Her professional experience spans roles such as Associate Director at Retail Management Institute, Assistant Director at Santa Clara University, Program Coordinator, and various management positions at Bullocks Northern California and Emporium Department Stores.
