Highlights
What an inspiration to fellowship with a very special community in Mississippi that helps sustain the critical work of Canopy Children's Solutions. I’m inspired daily by my dear friends John Damon, Ph.D. and Michael B. O'Neil, Jr. and honored to collaborate with them and our incredible teams at Canopy Children's Solutions, Get Well and Learn to Live, Inc.--as we announce a youth mental health initiative in the state.
Pursuing this ambitious mission would not be possible without the unwavering support from the The Aspen Institute, our dear community of Aspen Fellows, and countless others. #hoperising
Teen mental health is a growing crisis in this country, especially among our young women. Today we are announcing a partnership with Girls Inc. to provide our programs and services free of charge to empower their members to improve their mental health and resilience. And this is just the first step. We must change the trajectory of hope for our young people. We need to collaborate alongside our youth, their parents, teachers, and guardians in a very different way. We’re excited that soon we’ll be able to share with you the efforts of several transformational partnerships which have been forming over the past 18 months. Thank you to the Learn to Live, Inc. team for joining forces on this critical work.
