With an impressive academic background, Damira has held various significant roles in prestigious organizations. She is currently serving as a Programme Policy Officer at the World Food Programme. Previously, she has worked as a Programme Specialist at GIZ and held positions such as National Programme Officer, Project Assistant/IOM sociologist, and Consultant at IOM - UN Migration Agency. Additionally, Damira has experience as an Associate Professor in the Journalism and Mass Communications Department at the American University of Central Asia, a Junior Research Fellow at Georg-Eckert-Institut für internationale Schulbuchforschung, and a Lecturer at the American University of Central Asia.
