This one hits close to home for me, as someone who has accepted many government invitations to present on crypto compliance issues. Regardless of anyone's views on crypto or Binance or the use of digital assets as a hedge against currency devaluation, I hope we can all agree that no government should invite a well-regarded compliance professional to another country to present on compliance issues, only to detain him for weeks without charges or seemingly any claim of individual wrongdoing.
