Dan Chmelar is a seasoned professional who has multitudinous experiences and skills that equip him with the expertise necessary to excel in different spheres. After completing his studies in American History education at Wartburg College, Dan served as a high school teacher at the Waterloo East High School before joining the United States Marine Corps. As a platoon commander in the USMC, he currently supervises and trains 40 Marines and Navy Corpsman, utilizing the leadership and people skills he has garnered over the years.

In addition to his military training, he studied infantry tactics and leadership at the Infantry Officers Course and Military and Strategic Leadership Concepts at The Basic School. Prior to joining the teaching profession, Dan worked as a concrete worker at Bowers Masonry and student manager at Wartburg College Dining Services. He has honed his people skills and leadership qualities over time, making him a valuable asset in any team he serves.
