Highlights
It’s been 1 year since I was laid off. At that time, my optimism for myself and the hundreds of peers who were on that call with me were high. I wouldn’t have ever imagined a large number of us would still be looking for full time employment- something stable, benefits, etc.
The last year has been filled with ups and downs. If I’m being real honest, getting rejected day after day is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to bounce back from. If I do end up back in Recruiting, this experience will change the way I work and change the expectations I’d have for my team and their interactions with candidates.
That all said - yes; I’m still Open To Work. I’m not married to Talent Acquisition or to a job title. At this point I need to get back into full time employment and something that offers benefits for my family and pay that will cover the bills. I’m great at leader of people/teams, I work hard, I find scalable efficiencies/solutions in processes and I connect with people well.
