One of the best parts about our volunteer builds overseas is when we get the finished home pics and see the families have moved in and made it their own. Seeing the framed picture of the volunteers hanging proudly on the wall is amazingly gratifying!

A massive thank you to the deserving families, volunteers, skilled labourers and the Dong Thap community for their time, energy, and donations towards this build. Together we not only provided a safe and beautiful home but also reinforced the power of community and collaboration. 🏡❤️

We have upcoming projects in Vietnam, Cambodia, Fiji and the next build i'll lead is in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2025. Let me know if you'd like to hear how you can join us.

It was wonderful to see so many dedicated individuals and companies at our Inclusive & Affordable Cities luncheon last week engage in important discussions around the housing crisis and how we can collectively work towards tangible solutions.   We were also very excited to have our wonderful CEO, Nicole Stanmore officially launch our SHARP rental housing assistance program as well as having Queenie Tran, General Manager for Habitat Women share some of the struggles women face in the construction industry and the success of Habitat Women, our all-female construction training program and social enterprise.   We would like to thank our engaging panel for the fantastic and diverse discussion they led and all the ideas, insights and questions that were brought to the table. Thank you Emma Nicholson from Homes NSW, Eamon Waterford , CEO of Committee for Sydney, and Andrew Hoyne from Hoyne Placemaking and The Place Economy as well as our panel moderator, Leonie King, CEO of City West Housing Pty Ltd.

Also a huge thank you to Melinda King for organising such a fantastic event. Appreciate you!
