Dan Polner brings extensive experience in bioscience facility management, economic development, and investment banking to his role as the Executive Director of Broad Hollow Bioscience Park, Inc. With over 100,000 sq/ft of bioscience facilities under his purview, Dan oversees the progress of incubator tenant companies, identifies resource needs, and provides strategic guidance to aid in their business development.

Prior to his current position, Dan spent 9 years at Stony Brook University in a similar capacity, fostering growth and supporting entrepreneurship within the bioscience sector. His earlier career as a CPA and finance specialist, including a 9-year tenure as a Managing Director at Jefferies & Company, adds a strong financial acumen to his leadership.

Dan Polner holds an MBA with focuses in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as a BSEcon/BAS in Accounting/Engineering from The Wharton School. His educational background, combined with his experience in diverse organizations like the New York Small Business Development Center, equips him with a unique skill set for driving business success and growth.

Through roles at Jefferies & Company, Berenson & Company, and Equitable Capital Management, Dan has honed his expertise in investment banking, making him a valuable asset in guiding mid-size companies and financial sponsors towards their strategic goals. Furthermore, his leadership at Broad Hollow Bioscience Park, Inc. involves integrating Farmingdale State College's faculty and students into incubation programs, further enriching the innovation ecosystem he oversees.
