Dana Bleitz-Sanburg is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and a wide range of experiences in archaeology, zooarchaeology, anthropology, and museum-related fields. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from California State University-Los Angeles, an Associate of Arts in Anthropology, Museology, Archaeology, and Music from Los Angeles Valley College, and has pursued studies in the Doctor of Philosophy program in Archaeology with a focus on Zooarchaeology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

With a rich professional history, Dana has held various roles in different organizations. Currently serving as the Director and Consultant at ECOFACT, Dana has previously worked as a Beekeeper at Bleitz Bees, engaged in Movie-Prop Research, Consulting, Reproductions, and Skeletons as an Independent Consultant/Contractor, and directed Wildlands Bee/Wasp Control at ECOFACT. Prior to these roles, Dana has gained experience as a Recreation Leader at Burbank Park & Recreation, a Research Associate at Archaeology in the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum, and as an Assistant Bookshop Manager and Student Professional Worker at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Additionally, Dana has contributed as a Research, Lab, and Teaching Student-Assistant in Archaeology at California State University, Los Angeles.
