Yesterday I had the privilege to speak to a room packed full of correctional professionals on this very topic through findings from PRIN at the American Correctional Association Congress of Correction in Nashville with my PRIN colleagues. Pictured with me is Evelyn McCoy, a senior manager at Urban Institute and Heather Doncaster, Delaware's DOC Chief of Planning, Research and Reentry.

Missouri is one of five states participating in PRIN, Prison Research and Innovation Network. PRIN is a grant funded research project that is designed to improve living and working conditions inside prisons. The grant is funded by Arnold Ventures and managed by Urban Institute. Moberly Correctional Center is the Missouri prison chosen to participate and the University of Missouri is our research partner.

Missouri has successfully completed this project and implemented a tool for other Missouri prisons to utilize this collaborative, solution focused approach to prison. I am super proud of the work this team has done and grateful to have been a part of it!!!!
