Highlights
Highlights from Barcelona #3️⃣
Really enjoyed moderating the silver stage and sharing our insights on the future of #returns.
Loved discussing with Bart Coppelmans from HERE Technologies, Alberto Pimenta from CTT - Correios de Portugal, Andrew Seirlis from DSV - Global Transport and Logistics and Olafur Magnusson from IKEA.
👉 The future of ecommerce supply chain is #data. It needs to be harmonized and integrated and we need to learn to provide customers with only necessary but accurate information.
And super proud for two females in logistics leading the sharing on the future of returns. Thanks for sharing your insights Charlotte Bax.
👉Returns should be seen as an opportunity and enabled in an integrated manner. With end-to-end visibility, retailers can optimise pricing of returns, pre-alert the warehouse and make it intuitive for customers.
Highlights from Barcelona #1️⃣
Definitely meeting Alberto Pimenta Director for #ecommerce at CTT - Correios de Portugal. 10 years since they have privatised and I have rarely met such an infectious advocate for innovative and fully integrated eCom solutions! 💥
My highlights from our conversation:
💡they built an agnostic #parcellockers network, open to all delivery providers and merchants.
💡they integrated #payment processes with the help of their own bank, plus startup collaborations
💡they enabled label free #returns with the help of a simple code, allowing customers to use lockers to return irrespective on who delivered initially
💡they are helping brands like FNAC Portugal to drive #circularity and return and refurbish previously bought goods
Catch us this afternoon at silver stage here at Leaders in Logistics and find out more.
