To everyone else: In response to widespread protests that began peacefully, the government of Bangladesh has shutdown access to the internet and telecommunications, presumably in an effort to stymie the coordination and organization of the protests. I am not an expert on the context or history of these protests. But I am committed to a world where can freely and openly communicate with each other, and the deprivation of the people of Bangladesh of the ability to do so feels intolerably oppressive.
