From Jefferies Israel Team:
Dear friends and colleagues,
We are grateful for the contribution of Jefferies last week to aid with humanitarian relief to the people of Israel last week. With your assistance, the help of our clients and the entire Jefferies family, we were able to allocate over ILS 50 million ($13 million) to ten charities that provide medical and first response to people in dire needs, treating and saving thousands of lives.
We are now two weeks into the war, counting well over 1,000 innocent civilians and soldiers that were brutally murdered, over 200 kidnapped into Gaza, and 100-200 people still missing. It is the most devastating assault on Israel that we’ve known and we are all heartbroken. We have no doubt though that the people and the state of Israel will emerge stronger and better – Israelis and the global community work relentlessly, mostly as volunteers, to help those in need.
As many of you expressed interest to further help, we have compiled a list of additional charities that help in many ways – providing shelter and essentials, medical/mental supplies and treatments, helping communities, businesses and soldiers in need. We have personally vetted these causes, spoke with their representatives, and identified real needs for further assistance.
In the attached you’ll find a summary of these charities, with links and contact information for donations. It is important to highlight that this is not a formal Jefferies-backed initiative, but rather coming from the Jefferies Team-Israel as concerned civilians. People can contact these charities or make contributions directly following the links in the attached. We just wanted to vet, digest and summarize some relevant causes in the attached, which you can share with your networks as helpful.
Again, huge thanks for all of your help, concern, friendship and partnership.
Wishing you and your families a quiet and peaceful weekend.
The Jefferies Israel team.
