Daniel B. Frye, J.D., has dedicated his 30-year career to advocating for the blind and disabled communities, serving in various leadership positions in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and advocacy groups.

Throughout his career, Daniel has been a key figure in effecting change, serving as Executive Director of the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Management and Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, Editor of the Braille Monitor for the National Federation of the Blind, and National Advocate for the Association of Blind Citizens of New Zealand.

Drawing on his expertise in Social Security and Vocational Rehabilitation programs, Daniel has been a strong advocate for individual consumers in these areas.

Currently, Daniel holds the position of Director of Public Sector Engagement and Strategy at Aira Tech Corp., a leading startup focusing on technology and services for individuals who are blind and low-vision. He is also the founder of Daniel B. Frye Consulting Services, offering consulting, training, and public speaking in disability-related policy disciplines.

Daniel holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Washington School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government from Erskine College, and a High School Diploma from Spartanburg High School.
