And the winner is... PARADISE! Jury prize in Horror at Austin Film Festival presented by Vertigo Entertainment. My first recognition for my writing, rather than my finished films. What an honor! #AFF30
ERADICATION is in the #newyorktimes NYTimes.com AGAIN! This time a top 5 Science Fiction pick! Love that the NYT movie writers have seen it and liked it enough to feature it both within the Horror and the Sci Fi genre, and that they're picking up the essential themes:
"Eradication” is at its best when describing the crumbling psyche of a man cut off from everyday interactions while being under surveillance — an exaggerated version of the way many of us live now. What really gets to David, after all, is not so much monstrous ghouls created by a virus, but being alone."
