As an advocate for UK businesses, I’ve been reflecting on the latest ONS data, which shows that despite strong GDP growth in the UK, our productivity is stagnating.

In my recent City AM article, I discuss how we can bridge the productivity gap and reinvigorate the UK economy. Here are three ways that I believe could make a real difference:

✅ Unlocking AI's Potential: Recent Workday research shows that AI could unlock up to £119 billion worth of productive work each year for large UK enterprises. The efficiency and productivity gains here aren’t just incremental—they’re set to be a game changer.

✅ Building AI Trust: To break down barriers to #AI adoption, we must address concerns about its impact on privacy, security, and the workforce head-on. To build trust in AI, we need to ensure transparency, responsible AI development, and maintain a human-centric approach.

✅ Upskilling Our Workforce: Investing in high-value #skills, particularly in AI and digital technologies, will be critical for all UK businesses to ensure sustainable economic growth.

I believe these strategies could strengthen UK productivity and help propel us forward. Have a read of the full article to find out more: https://bit.ly/4gbyM4Y

Last week, we announced our Q2 FY25 results, and I’m delighted to say Workday has had another successful quarter. Our 16.7% growth in total revenues and 17.2% increase in subscription revenues year-over-year underscore the value we're delivering to our customers.

These results aren't just numbers – they're a testament to our relentless focus on #innovation and #AI. As the business landscape evolves, more organisations are continuing to choose Workday as their strategic partner.

I'm particularly excited to welcome our new UKI customers, including 3i Group plc, First Bus and South East Water UK. And congratulations to all customers who had their first go-live this quarter.

None of this would be possible without our incredible ecosystem. To our customers, partners, and Workmates – thank you for being the driving force behind our success as we continue to shape the future of work. 🚀
