I had a blast (no pun intended) discussing #energypolicy, decarbonization, the impending AI revolution, and the merits of natural gas and nuclear energy with Stuart Turley.
To remain economically relevant over the next century, the United States must focus on energy expansion, better data, and enhanced technological innovation!
We also have to work on that headshot of me Stu!
We have been assisting the oil and gas space in implementing a proactive set of programs, policies, and strategies that resolve non-financial vulnerabilities that are material to long-term valuation. Addressing such vulnerabilities is critical since there is a perceived lack of quality in the existing data, influencing the trajectory of the regulatory landscape and investor appetite.
Because virtually no one inherently trusts the data, the capital markets and relevant regulators are pushing the industry to shift from estimates to empirical measurement. It is critical for the sector to preemptively pinpoint and efficiently address the potential “gaps” in material non-financial data.
An impactful derivative of these efforts also helps solidify five key empirical facts:
-
The existing energy policy built into the U.S. regulatory fabric is setting us up for long-term economic failure
-
The world will shortly experience an unprecedented demand for affordable and reliable power
-
While the pursuit of net zero is admirable, settling for anything less than absolute zero undermines economic prosperity and geopolitical stability
-
An “all of the above” set of energy solutions, led by natural gas, is required to power the next generation of U.S. economic dominance
-
Empirically speaking, U.S. energy is the cleanest, safest and most efficient relative to the rest of the world, and it isn't close
The legacy energy space has the luxury of having economics, physics, and mathematics on its side. However, the regulatory space and growing investor appetite are rapidly shifting away from estimates to empirical measurement.
The space must achieve 100% confidence in the material non-financial data it utilizes to drive long-term shareholder wealth and to align with the impending regulatory environment.
We have been engaging in a roadshow highlighting our “U.S. Needs A Larger Boat” presentation to executive management teams, boards, policymakers, and regulators. Let’s connect to discuss and review.
