Highlights
🔮 A year ago I spoke with Andrew Olsen, CFRE about my predictions for 2023 #fundraising trends...
My top predictions from last year:
▶ Nonprofit giving experiences will trend towards e-commerce type strategies (upsells, abandoned donation notifications, machine learning enhancements)
▶ Successful nonprofits will lean in to recurring giving through a subscription-service lens
▶ A frictionless giving experience will become more than a nice-to-have, it will be expected
The funniest one to me is discussing AI trends...while my ideas were valid, I had no idea how this would really unfold this year. About a week after this podcast launched, I used ChatGPT for the first time and it seemed like everything changed...
So how did I do? What will carry over to this year?
🔮 2024 Predictions coming soon - til then if you haven't listened, there's still a lot of relevant info.
Had a wonderful time at the Nonprofit Power '23 Event hosted by NonProfit PRO
I left feeling invigorated and inspired - and ready to tackle giving season and end of year!
Some highlights include: 🤖 The Keynote Session talking all things fundraising and AI -- the real question is can you really afford NOT to invest in AI and strong fundraising tech that will empower you to be better at your job? (hint: the answer is no)
💙Reuniting with my dear colleagues Jenny and Alexander
💪Sarah’s inspiring Tuesday morning session - the grit and tenacity of NPOs like City Harvest never cease to light a fire in me
👩💻Hosting meaningful 1:1 meetings with nonprofit execs - can’t wait to continue those conversations this week
🐶Getting to hear Jenny Flack, MBA present on how Funraise has helped Wags & Walks build sustained revenue growth with over $6mil raised online (which means over 11k dogs rescued!)
