With a rich background in working with healthcare entrepreneurs and industry leaders at Rock Health, a prominent digital health venture fund in San Francisco, Danielle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her endeavors.
Danielle McGuinness holds a Master of Arts in Design in Health from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She has also pursued studies at The University of Hong Kong.
Her professional journey includes roles such as Consumer Experience Design Manager at Memorial Hermann Health System, Marketing Manager, Marketing Associate, and Marketing Fellow at Rock Health, as well as a Research Assistant at Barcellos Genetic Epidemiology and Genomics Laboratory.
Currently, Danielle McGuinness is passionate about exploring new horizons while nurturing her interests in dim sum, Giants baseball, and road trips along the Central California coast.

While systemic racism, inequality, and institutionalized violence are healthcare issues, they are more importantly pressing matters of humanity. Black lives matter, and we must stand up to the implicit and explicit threats that challenge this truth. Rock Health continues to push forward on the gender diversity front in healthcare, but has quite frankly failed as a team and organization to fully live our spoken values of diversity and inclusion. I am ashamed to say we have not done enough to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of this country—and how can we hope to make healthcare massively better for everyone if many of those voices aren't at the table?
We are actively working behind the scenes to address this (more to come!) and, in the meantime, wanted to share some #digitalhealth openings on our team.
