Earlier this month, I had the immense pleasure of collaborating with the incredible Barclays Eagle Labs team during the #Climb24 — an exhilarating two-day event packed with growth, inspiration, and innovation right here in the North.

Thanks to a special invitation from the #BarclaysEagleLabs team, I joined their dynamic booth to offer live mentorship consultations. It was a unique opportunity to engage with aspiring entrepreneurs eager for a second opinion on their ventures. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring how even a brief 20-minute session can deliver substantial value! 😍

It was also a privilege to finally meet in person the brilliant minds behind Barclays Eagle Labs Keiren Criddle, Grace Kuczynski Kiera Mckechnie Luca Forte Rouya Mardani 💙🤍

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Ann Davidson and the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre for bringing this fantastic idea to life.

Engaging with forward-thinking entrepreneurs always reinforces my passion for innovation and problem-solving. If you're venturing into new business waters and need a sounding board, feel free to reach out and book a session with me at Barclays mentorship platform (link in the comments)!

My Top 3 Tools for Frameworks in New Markets

Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of bringing numerous products to various international markets. Through trial and error, I've identified three frameworks that have been instrumental in saving time and money during these launches:

1️⃣ JTBD (Jobs To Be Done): This approach is about understanding the core tasks that customers need to accomplish. It has allowed me to pinpoint exactly what drives demand and tailor our offerings to meet those needs effectively.

2️⃣ RAT (Riskiest Assumption Test): This method has been crucial for testing the most critical assumptions about our product’s market potential. It covers everything from market size and customers' willingness to pay to our product’s ability to address specific customer challenges and the overall sustainability of the business model.

3️⃣ Traction Map: Maintaining focus and momentum is key in the hectic phases of product testing and launch. The traction map helps keep our team aligned on testing hypotheses around market segments, value propositions, products, and distribution channels.

These frameworks have not only guided our strategies but have also been a source of consistent success in diverse markets.

Have you discovered any other frameworks or tools that have been game changers in your international product launches? I’d love to hear about them in the comments below! 😇
