Danny Kaufman is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in non-profit organizations focusing on human rights, women's rights, LGBTI rights, and philanthropy. He is passionate about community-led strategies for creating a more equitable and regenerative world.

Currently serving as the Director of Philanthropic Engagement at the Burning Man Project, Danny manages the department responsible for ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of Burning Man's global events and programs.

His extensive background includes resource mobilization, project management, advocacy, and strategic philanthropy with organizations in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.

Professionally fluent in Spanish, Danny holds an M.P.A. with a focus on non-profit management and international development. He has traveled to over 50 countries and has a strong educational foundation from the University of Washington and Occidental College.

Past roles include Lead Development Outreach Manager at Wikimedia Foundation, Global Justice Fellow at American Jewish World Service (AJWS), Senior Communications & Resource Mobilization Officer at Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights, and various development positions in organizations like Women's Link Worldwide, WINGS Guatemala, FINCA Perú, and M+R.
