Danny Kim, PharmD, is the Head of Corporate Development at WELT, a Samsung spin-off focused on healthcare and technology innovations. He leads the creation of personalized digital therapeutics by integrating sensor and digital biomarker technologies with therapeutic content to address diseases with high unmet medical needs.

Beyond his professional role, Danny serves as a Board Member of Health Sciences Entrepreneurs at Northeastern University, where he pursues his PharmD degree and established ViTAL, formerly known as Bouve Innovators, a healthcare innovation hub at Northeastern.

With a rich background, Danny's experience includes leadership positions such as Director of Business Development at Soundable Health, VP at Contrary Capital, and Corporate Development Analyst at Pear Therapeutics. He also contributed significantly to PillPack, acquired by Amazon for $1B, as an operator and earned the unofficial title of the company's biggest fanboy.

An active advisor to early-stage startups and family offices in healthcare technology investments, Danny also engages in angel investing and syndicates. Noteworthy among his investments is the VUNO IPO'21. Recognized for his achievements, Danny is a Forbes 30 Under 30 Fellow, Underscore VC's Top Rising Star in Tech, a mentor at MIT Hacking Medicine, and a budding barista.

Danny's academic journey includes pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Social Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University. His professional affiliations span an array of impactful roles in various organizations like WELT corp, the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, Soundable Health, and more.
