Danny Spitzberg is a user experience research leader specializing in the cooperative economy, with a background in economic sociology and co-op business development.

He is known for connecting worker co-design with digital product development, facilitating worker-led research studies, data analysis, and ownership model development.

Over the past 6 years, Danny has trained over 150 first-time researchers, led 30 participatory studies, and empowered partners through strategic research and capacity-building efforts.

With a Masters in Economic Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelors in Environmental Economics from McGill University, Danny has held various roles in leading research organizations such as the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, Exit to Community Collective, American Express, and more.

He has contributed significantly to the field through speaking engagements like the 2022 UXRConf keynote titled 'Creating Standards: Our Secret Job as Researchers.'
