Danny Taing is the founder of Bokksu, a company that aims to introduce authentic Japanese snacks and teas to food enthusiasts worldwide.

With a background in Business Development at Rakuten, Tokyo, and Digital Marketing at Google, Mountain View, Danny brings a wealth of experience to his ventures.

Having lived in Tokyo for four years, Danny developed a deep passion for Japanese food and culture before returning to NYC.

He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sociology from Stanford University, pursued Postbaccalaureate studies in Computer Science at Columbia University, and completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Communication at Stanford University.

Danny's language proficiency includes Chinese from National Taiwan University and Japanese from Waseda University.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Danny is an enthusiastic rock climber and enjoys engaging in friendly board game competitions with friends.
