Dantes Rameau is an accomplished non-profit executive, classical musician, and consultant with extensive experience in various aspects of non-profit leadership.

His expertise includes strategic planning, fundraising, board development, budgeting, operations, human capital management, collective impact partnerships, and program development.

With a focus on music education and youth development, Dantes currently serves as the executive director of the Atlanta Music Project and is a Global Arts Management Fellow at the prestigious DeVos Institute of Arts Management.

As a professional bassoonist, Dantes actively performs with musicians from the Atlanta Music Project and has showcased his talent globally, including being a soloist with the Orchestra Symphonique des Jeunes de l'Ontario Francais in Ottawa, Canada.

His performance repertoire includes notable venues like Carnegie Hall, Woodruff Arts Center, and Kennedy Hall, collaborating with renowned orchestras such as the Aspen Chamber Symphony, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and Banff Festival Orchestra.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Dantes runs Empowered Artists Consulting, offering strategic guidance for social good to artists, non-profits, and for-profit organizations in both English and French.

He has shared his insights through lectures at esteemed institutions like Emory University, Clayton State University, Kennesaw State University, New England Conservatory, University of Manitoba, and Mercer College.

Dantes Rameau's contributions to arts education have been recognized through awards such as ArtsATL's 2019 Luminary Arts Award and being named a Musical America 2018 Top 30 Professional.

His academic background includes a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance from Yale University, a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from McGill University, and certificates from the Sistema Fellows Program at New England Conservatory of Music and the Performance Residency Program at Carnegie Mellon University.

Throughout his career, Dantes has been actively involved in various roles such as Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Music Project, DeVos Institute Global Arts Management Fellow at the University of Maryland, Founder of Empowered Artists Consulting, and Sistema Fellow at New England Conservatory of Music.
